by The Searcher intowards the end of last year, the witnesses in scotland had their own assembly hall opened in the town of livingston, near edinburgh the capital.. this was achieved no doubt by blood, sweat, and tears by many over a very long period - as well as by donations of witnesses from all over scotland and its islands, not forgetting the levy per publisher imposed on all the congregations in the guise of "donations"!.

The resolution was actually passed!
by stillin inwho would have thought that enough people would raise their hands when the resolution was put before the congregation tonight?
based on the pledges that the publishers put on those little pieces of paper, the congregation is promising the wts that they will send $1,000/month to support the society's building funds.. there is a traditional monthly shortfall of about $100 with the basic monthly bills usually around $1,000.
i didn't raise my hand.

I should also mention that our friend "The Unknown Apostate" said the property is worth at the very least what they paid for it. It is good frontage road off the highway property.

Just found this out today....
a NON-PROFIT CHARITY corporation [Verde Valley congregation] the Trustees CANNOT sell property to themselves. He also did not check the little box on the deed where it asks if the buyer & seller are related.
There is a building on the property and He also checked the box that this would be secondary/vacation home , instead of the THIS WILL USED FOR RENTAL PROPERTY and he immediately rented it out.
THIS IS FRAUD IN THE state ASSESSORS law book
He used his company to buy the property and the congregation was not told any of this. Now there is a 2 nd piece of property that we are trying to get the documents for. There is definitely something screwy going on in Cottomwood, AZ

Thank you everyone.
This is being plastered everywhere and thanks to the vast Aposta-army with lots of great ideas...it's gonna hit the fan. I've been answering emails & phone calls all morning, with several wanting to help and needing some details or questions answered.
Our friend Jerry Jones is calling HQ's to ask the service desk about this. I've had someone else ask permission to grab our video off of Youtube and send it to HQ's [I don't think this will make a dent] but we apperciate their effort.
I had someone from our Facebook group go and post on every Verde Valley realtors facebook page that they would want to stay away from this property and any others the elders try to sell because it is embroiled in controversy.
Notinmytown from Youtube is plastering his postcards all over the Verde Valley as well.
They're supposed to have another property as well, but I can't seem to find it under the VV Cong. legal name.

Has Anyone Heard Whether The New JW Bible Is Liked As Much As The Old One?
by minimus inmy mom told me that she, my brother and his wife really didn't like this new bible.. when i asked her why, she said they dropped the headings on the top of the pages and that just wasn't as good.. have you heard any pros and cons about the new good book?.

We know of a current JW sister that refuses to use the bible and was hauled int he back room with 2 elders and told that she has to use the new one. So now she uses her smart phone and they cannot tell if she is reading from the old rusty sword or the silver one
